Improving ad automation and ad retargeting CTRs at Vizury
Vizury worked with leading e-commerce companies of the world, providing them with ad-retargeting solutions, helping them reach put to users who may have showed interest in products , by targeting them with product specific banner ads. These ads would record a significantly higher Click thorough ratio than generic banner ads.
The banner automation tool was aimed at reducing the lead time required for the banners. Based on few input parameters and a set of rules, the tool would generate all banners needed for the campaign, reducing the lead time from weeks to hours.
Banner performances were measured for campaign optimisation, however the fact that the banners did not have a standardised taxonomy, made it difficult to study them. My initiative to create banner taxonomy made it easier to understand patterns for successful banners and scale their performance.
