User Experience Design at Accenture

I joined Accenture during a period of significant technological disruption, as smartphones and tablets were becoming ubiquitous, yet clear guidelines for app functionality on touch devices were still evolving. My role involved consulting both emerging and established companies on developing mobile-first products. I led a small team of two designers and was actively involved in responding to requests for proposals and delivering sales pitches. Key projects are outlined below.

Naver, a leading Korean Internet company was launching data storage and microblogging platforms called NDrive and NBlog. I was one of the key design contributors in the project

AstraZeneca, a major pharmaceutical company, approached Accenture to develop demos for its new product lines. I led the design initiatives for Vimovo, a product focused on osteoarthritis.

I was also engaged in building internal tablet apps for Accenture management. A suite of applications called MDart/ ODart were made to track live projects, risks and mitigations. The project was well received and adapted.

At Accenture, I was introduced to the design of large-scale enterprise systems. One notable project was with MD Anderson, a leading cancer research institute in the U.S., which sought to build hospital management systems as part of its digital transformation. I led the design initiatives for this project.
